Hope Foundation volunteer work in Kolkata, India

Hi, My name is Michele Henry. I am fortunate to have been selected to travel to Kolkata to visit The Hope Foundation with my school, Alexandra College Dublin.

Because of my Indian heritage I feel a deep connection to India thanks to my beloved Grandmother Dr Madeleine Khare Daly.

The Hope Foundation is dedicated to promoting the protection of street-dwelling and slum-connected children in Kolkata, some of the most underprivileged in India, as well as their families and communities. HOPE works to effect immediate and lasting change in their lives.
