Hope for Yousef and his sisters survive in Gaza

Dear Friends,

My name is Yousef, and I am 11 years old. These are my little sisters, Jana (12 years old) on the left, and Hala (8 years old) on the right. We are smart, strong, and full of dreams, but we are facing unimaginable challenges.

The war has deeply affected my family. My sisters are struggling with severe emotional trauma after witnessing the destruction of our neighborhood and the deaths of their friends. Our home was destroyed, taking with it all the memories and pieces of our life.

Below, you will see photos of the damage to our home and the devastation that has affected our entire community.

I’ve also spent hours waiting under the hot sun, just to fill a few gallons of water for drinking and daily use. It is a constant struggle.

We had previously been living in a UNRWA school, where we shared a small classroom with 30 other people, but due to ongoing bombings, we were forced to leave. We are currently living in a tent, where conditions are even more difficult. Tents flood when it rains, and winter is coming, and we do not have adequate clothing for the cold weather. Life here is difficult. We lack access to clean water, food, and basic necessities. Even when food is available, it is often too expensive for us to afford.

This campaign is my plea for help. My sisters and I, like all children in the world, deserve the chance to live in peace and safety. We dream of rebuilding our lives and moving forward. I am reaching out to all those who have hope in their hearts and love for life to help us. Your support will give my sisters and me a chance to heal, to dream again, and most importantly, to be safe.

We just want to survive. We want to continue the dreams that the war has interrupted. Every dollar you contribute will make a difference in our lives. If you cannot donate, please help by sharing our story.
