Hope for the Housenick's

Hello family, friends, and community!

On December 6, 2024 about 12:30 pm, my parents house caught on fire and left them and my brother with only the clothes on their backs.

Thankfully, they were safe at work when this happened, otherwise the outcome could have been more tragic.

Not that there is ever a good time to lose your home to a fire, but it seems it's always around Christmas. With that being said, I am praying that we could come together and help my family gain some of the things they lost (clothes, their Christmas gifts, shoes, and other necessities.)

We are grateful for home owners insurance, as they are able to rebuild when things settle, and the weather cooperates, but that could take upwards of 9 or more months. For now, they are placed in a hotel. We are grateful!

My dad, while I jokingly call him "Basic Bob" is nothing of the sort. He is passionate, kind, funny, and a REALLY hard worker. He has been a huge blessing to me in my own personal struggle over the past year and to be able to help him in this way would be such a blessing to not only him, but the rest of our family.
