Hope for Payton - Home in Hawaii
Donation protected
My name is Alex, I am a family friend of the Walkers. If you know Payton Walker, you know what a sweet soul she is. Her positive attitude and sweet demeanor always bring joy to those around her despite the nasty battle she is fighting every day: cystic fibrosis. As most of you know, the Walker family recently moved to Hawaii so that Payton can thrive in the salty air. They fight so that she can live the best life possible, but now more than ever they need your help.
Payton's health has been declining. Her lung function has decreased, her diabetes is out of control, and she has a recent progression of lung disease, among other things. This translates to more trips to the hospital on the mainland and mounting debt. The Walker's also recently purchased a house on the island of Kauai so that Payton has a permanent place to live in a place she wishes to call home for the rest of her life. However, in the condition it is in, it is unsafe for Payton to live in.
With increasing medical bills and more trips to Stanford, remodeling the house to make it safe for Payton to live in has quickly and increasingly become extremely difficult. All proceeds from this fund will go directly to remodeling the house to make it safe for Payton. This includes flooring, roofing, bathroom remodel, etc.
With bills mounting fast, and escrow closing soon, the Walkers need your help now. Just $5 dollars will make a huge difference.
"The constant fight for our daughters life is more than one could possibly bare. Throughout the years there's one thing that has always stayed consistent, her village! The village that supports her and this journey is the biggest blessing one could ask for! So again, we thank you for pulling together once again to fight this battle with us! Our hearts are full of gratitude for each day we get to spend with her."
