I grew up as an orphan in Namibia, and I lost my twin sister at a young age. Those early years were filled with pain, hunger, and uncertainty—but they also taught me resilience, faith, and

kindness. Against all odds, I was able to build a new life in New York, something I once could only dream of. Today, my heart is with the children who are still living the life I escaped.

In Namibia, I would often see children peering through the cracks in my gate, hoping for a glimpse of my television. Their excitement over a simple meal of goat and rice at Christmas reminded me of my own childhood struggles. Many of these children go to bed hungry, without the support and love that every child deserves. My journey has shown me that one act of compassion can change a life, and I am determined to take action for these children.

Any funds raised will go towards building a safe and nurturing orphanage in Namibia. The orphanage will be fully equipped with a washer and dryer, kitchen, multi rooms for boys and girls, staff, security, a van, clothing, toys, school fees, medical fees, court fees, food, appliances, travel expenses, and even a farm and garden for the children.
