Black Tie Fundraiser

I am writing on behalf of Exhortation to Unity (ETU), a distinguished 501(c)(3) non-profit organization

(EIN-93-3468932), dedicated to a profound sense of duty and responsibility. Our unwavering mission is

to serve, uplift, inspire, provide for, and nourish those who find themselves grappling with homelessness,

mental illness, food insufficiencies or restricted income, and are in dire need of sustenance. We are

resolute in our commitment to offering a wholesome and nourishing meal through our Brown Bag Lunch

(BBL) program. We are passing out Brown Bag Lunches (BBL) once a month. Eventually, we would like

to give out lunches every week. We are serving Merced County. Right now we are focusing on Merced

and Atwater.

In today's world, the specter of homelessness, mental illness, and food insufficiencies has reached

epidemic proportions. This issue resonates deeply within us, as we have family and friends who have

experienced, and in some cases, still endure these hardships through no fault of their own. We

empathize with those who grapple with mental health challenges and cannot extricate themselves from

the streets, as well as those who, despite holding gainful employment, find themselves without a place to

call home. When we encounter these individuals within our community, we see reflections of ourselves,

our loved ones, and friends. We are driven by an urgent desire to extend our compassion and support to

our fellow human beings. We firmly believe that every individual deserves dignity and the assurance that

we see them and recognize their worth.

What we have found in our research is that we can meet and help more people if we have a mobile unit,

where we give out BBLs, hygiene packages and from time to time clothing & blankets. In order to help in

our efforts to provide funding in this area we have decided to sponsor the 1st Annual Legacy Ball

Fundraiser, Black Tie Affair! This event will take place November 15th, 2025 at the Atwater APC Hall. Located 1420 3r st. Atwater Ca
