Hope for Lincoln's Heart

Donation protected

Hi friends & family. As a lot of you already know Lincoln was born with a severe heard defect. He has HLHS(Hypo-plastic Left Heart Syndrome). That is when his left side of his heard did not develop. He only has his right side of his heart. He also has Pulmonary Hypertension and PAPVR (Partial Anomalous Pulmonary Venus Return). He has already had his first two open heart surgeries, the Norwood and Glen. He had his Norwood at 9 days old and the Glen at 6 months old. He has also had several surgical procedures as well through the years. On January 12, 2022 he will have his third and hopefully final open heart surgery. They will do the Fontan. This will hopefully be his last heart surgery. We never know what the future holds. I am so nervous but also very ready for all of this to be over. I am trusting the Lord through all of this. I know God loves Lincoln more then me and that is a lot of love. His first two surgeries we were in the hospital for a few months each time. His cardiologist thinks he will probably be in the hospital a few weeks after the Fontan. Then we will will stay in Houston for 7-10 after that to be close by if Lincoln needs to go back in for monitoring or emergencies. The Fontan is supposed to be the easiest of the three. We almost lost him a couple times with the first two. But like his first two surgeries, God's got this! After the Fontan his O2 should be in the 90s and he won't be as blue. The past few months he has turned very blue with any activity and his O2 has been high 70s. I will be in the hospital for around a month. I will also be out of work as well. I have been working for Energy Improvements (my dads company) for almost a year now. I haven't been able to work full time since I am also a stay at home mom. I recently went through a divorce. It was a toxic marriage and it was best for me and the boys to leave. I have been making it on my own for over a year now. I have been so blessed with a loving and supportive family. I am grateful for all the support from my friends and family. So many have been praying for Lincoln and my little family. I feel so loved and surrounded with support. I am asking for help for the month I will be away from home and work. The work and paychecks will stop but the bills won't. I will also have to eat at the hospital or takeout while I am there. If you feel led to help me I would be so grateful. I also ask for your prayers. Please pray Lincoln's surgery goes smooth and quick with no complications. That he will thrive during and after this. I want him to be able to go to school and do activities regular little boys get to do. He is such a strong and amazing little man. Thank you all for your prayers and support. God Bless!
