“Hi, my name is Kadisha and I’m raising funds for my baby boy, Khari.

Khari is just 17 months old and he has already been through more than most of us will face in a lifetime. He was born prematurely at just 32 weeks, weighing only 4 pounds, and spent six weeks in the NICU fighting to breathe and grow strong enough to come home.

On April 21, 2025, our lives changed forever when Khari was diagnosed with ependymoma grade 3, a rare and aggressive brain and spinal cancer. Since then, my sweet boy has had two brain surgeries to remove the tumor, three surgeries to fix and replace his shunt, and lived with an EVD for a month to help drain fluid from his brain.

He’s endured 30 rounds of radiation and is now going through ongoing chemotherapy. Khari also had to have surgery to remove another tumor that grew at the base of his spine.

Through every surgery, every treatment, every hospital stay — Khari has fought so hard. He truly is a warrior, but he can’t do this alone. The cost of his treatments, medical bills, travel, and daily living expenses have put an overwhelming strain on our family.
