HELP US BRING HOPE TO KENYA – Support MSW Ministries Global Missions with Pastors Jared & Kimberly Brooks
We are Pastor Jared Brooks and Pastor Kimberly M. Brooks of MSW Ministries Global in Carbondale, IL. From August 5–13, 2025, we will be on the ground in Ogembo, Kisii, Kenya on a life-changing mission trip to Itare Fellowship Church, where the need is urgent, the harvest is ripe, and the Gospel is advancing!
Our spiritual son in the faith, Pastor Dennis Ogina, is a powerful young man of God who is doing incredible work in this rural region. Over the past year, MSW Ministries Global has faithfully partnered with his growing church community, helping provide spiritual leadership, material support, and monthly assistance for the orphans, widows, and elderly who depend on the church for survival.
WHY WE'RE GOING
This is not a trip. This is a mission—to preach the Gospel, equip leaders, and meet critical needs in one of the most impoverished rural areas of Kisii. The church is growing rapidly, with new converts coming to Christ almost daily, but the resources are extremely scarce.
- We currently support over 20 orphans—providing food, clothing, and care.
- Widows and elderly individuals also rely on the ministry for daily sustenance.
- Our next goal is to establish a food pantry system on site to combat hunger.
$1 USD equals approximately $127 Kenyan Shillings—so even the smallest seed can make a huge Kingdom impact.
WHY MISSIONS MATTER
Jesus said, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” – Mark 16:15
And again, “How shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent?” – Romans 10:14-15
We believe in preaching the Gospel in both word and deed—not only proclaiming salvation through Jesus Christ, but also meeting the physical needs of His people.
As Proverbs 19:17 says: “He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord, and He will pay back what he has given.”
This is our moment to be the hands and feet of Jesus in a village where many have never received consistent help or hope.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Your donation will help us:
- Travel August 5–13, 2025 to preach, train, and encourage
- Provide food, hygiene supplies, and basic resources for orphans and widows
- Begin setting up a permanent pantry system for long-term sustainability
- Host revival and evangelism meetings to reach more souls for Christ
- Bless Pastor Dennis and his ministry team for their continued labor in this harvest field
