Hope for Ibrahim, Soha & Their Kids

Support Ibrahim's fight for survival. I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Ibrahim Tayseer Almughanni. My commitment is to ensure that every dollar collected reaches him and his family as they navigate these challenging times.

Here’s Ibrahim’s story:

Ibrahim is a husband to Soha and a father to three beautiful children: Toleen (9 years old), Wateen (6), and Tayseer (4). He used to work as a blacksmith in his own workshop, providing for his family with dignity and hard work.

But when the genocide escalated, everything changed. His workshop was completely destroyed by Israeli airstrikes. Along with it, he lost his tools, his savings, and his only source of income. Before the war, Ibrahim had already been struggling physically—he suffered a fracture in his leg that required metal plates, which made it difficult for him to walk or work. As the conflict worsened, so did his condition, leaving him completely unable to earn a living.

In December 2024, a house near where he was, was bombed. He wasn’t seriously injured, but a piece of shrapnel hit his hand and broke a finger. He still suffers from the pain and hasn’t received proper treatment.

Ibrahim's home has been destroyed three times by Israeli forces: in 2014, 2021, and 2023.

Ibrahim vividly recalls the day their lives fell apart—explosions in the distance turning into a deafening roar. Smoke filled the sky as people ran in fear. He grabbed his children and ran until they found temporary shelter in a school-turned-refugee center. The walls were bare. The fear was heavy. Families like his, displaced and traumatized, shared silence and grief.

Now, Ibrahim and his family are staying in Deir al-Balah, renting a small home for *800 shekels per month (about $220)*. With no job, no income, and his physical condition worsening, he doesn’t know how he will pay the rent or buy food for his children. The only support they receive is through donations.
