Hope for Heroes: Reigniting Hearts for Humanity

Hope For Heroes is a community service project dedicated to supporting the emotional health of frontline workers—veterans, first responders, nurses, teachers, and single parents. My inspiration for this work began when I helped a veteran close to me break free from PTSD, and I learned how many lives are lost each day to emotional health struggles. I realized I could use my experience as a life coach and emotional health consultant to make a difference for those who serve our communities.
Through SaraJ.life, I’ve already helped veterans like a single dad who was overwhelmed and suffering from chronic sleep deprivation. By working together, we implemented fitness, relaxation, and emotional health strategies that helped him move from a state of overwhelm to living with purpose and stepping into his highest calling. These stories are just the beginning of what’s possible when people receive the right support.
The most urgent need now is to build community emotional healing support groups. These groups will be a mix of virtual and in-person gatherings—whether it’s a nature hike, bonfire, or community meal—where frontline workers can find camaraderie and connection. I’ll lead these groups and train others to do the same in their own neighborhoods, using the emotional healing protocols I’ve developed over the past decade. Funds raised will help expand one-on-one sessions, develop online resources, and create a book to empower people to support loved ones struggling with emotional health. Together, we can bring hope and healing to those who give so much to others!
