Hope for Haley and Family

With a heavy heart, I am asking all family, friends , acquaintances, to keep the family of Haley and Maverick Reed in your thoughts and prayers. I am extremely sad and a bit hesitant to share this story with everyone.

My goals, besides raising funds to help the Reed family in this tragic time of loss, are to :

1. Raise suicide awareness

2. Make people realize that it’s ok to suffer from depression.

3. Show that people care and can help!

Friday April 7th Maverick Reed, husband of Haley and father of Roman, Sterling and Maddix , lost his life to suicide.

No one saw it coming , there was nothing anyone could do. It happened in an instant .

We don’t always share our inner struggles with our loved ones, for we strive to protect them always, .. most times we keep the sadness and pain to ourselves, in hopes that it will pass.. or in hopes that we will learn to just deal with it.

This man was a kind soul, great husband and father , great family man. He was loved by his family, coworkers and his friends .

Haley is a stay at home mom, and with all that just happened, she is extremely sad and overwhelmed. As you can imagine she and her little family have a lot to overcome in the days ahead . I am asking for donations, so that she doesn’t have to worry about where her next house payment will come from or how to feed her kids or keep utilities on, until she can get everything in order and begin the healing process .
