My name is Olivia, and I’m raising funds for my daughter Bailee, she needs this desperately who is just 5 years old. Bailee has been battling pancreatitis for a fuew years , and despite multiple surgeries, her condition remains critical. She faces another procedure soon, and if it doesn’t work, she’ll need a pancreatic transplant in Ohio. The constant hospitalizations have made it impossible for me to keep a job, and I was recently fired because of all the time I’ve had to spend at the hospital with Bailee. As a single mother, I am doing everything I can, but it’s become impossible to maintain employment or provide the stability Bailee needs.

We now need to travel to Houston for a second opinion, and if the doctor there recommends it, we’ll have to go to Ohio for a transplant. (And it seems like it’s going in that direction) After the car incident, getting Bailee to her appointments and the hospital is a daily struggle. I am not sure what the total costs will be for flights, hotels, and travel to Houston and possibly Ohio, so I am setting the fundraiser amount to help cover these unknowns. My only wish is for Bailee to be healed and to get the care she needs, so she can thrive and be a normal kid all the time not just sometimes. and I want everything to be OK for my daughter. This was very hard for me too make and emotional because I can’t belive my daughter has to go through this and also because I would never ask anyone for anything…

Bailee is an incredibly strong kid. She’s smart, funny, and brings joy to everyone around her, even during the toughest times. Watching her confined to a hospital bed for weeks at a time is heartbreaking, but I know she has so much potential to thrive. I would never ask for help if I didn’t have to, but these are desperate times and I need to do what’s best for my child.
