Trying to bring my daughters together in a safe, warm place before Alaska winter hits for my daughter in Alaska. Every little bit helps us get closer to shelter and stability.
I’m a single mom doing everything I can to keep my family safe and together. Right now, I’m trying to raise enough to either get an RV or cover a few months in a hotel in Arizona so my daughters and I have a warm place to stay before winter comes. My 17-year-old is with me, and my adult daughter in Alaska is struggling and needs to come be with us too before Alaska winter comes. I just want to bring her somewhere safe, away from the cold, and give us a chance to be together and start over after I left an abusive marriage this year. Even the smallest help would mean so much to us — it’s not just shelter, it’s a chance to start over with peace at home.
