Hello! My name is Ariana Rosado Fernández (from Puerto Rico) and I am humbled to vouch today for Sohad Abu Daqqa, "Mom Alameer", a 31-year-old breastfeeding mother who is currently stationed in the Gaza strip.

Sohad is patient and kind and has asked for help as starvation, access to medication and basic needs for her children are scarce, as are tents and safe places to take take cover during the ongoing war/genocide.

Here is her story in her own words: "I suffer from a chronic illness that requires daily treatment with a balanced diet. I support six people, including a child born during the war. We suffer from a shortage of milk and diapers. We have been living in a tent for two years.

Our lives have been turned upside down. We have no source of income. I lost my sister, her husband, my brother, and everything we owned. My home, which I struggled for years to build, was destroyed. The tent is so small and cramped it can't even fit my children. We are constantly moving from place to place in search of safety, but life has become unbearably difficult.

We don't have any of the necessities of life and we suffer a daily battle to provide even the most basic needs: milk, diapers, food, firewood, and even water.

We are not just asking for donations, we are asking for hope. Every dollar can help and support us psychologically and morally so we can:

Your kindness can give Amir, Ammar, Aby, Jamil, Mohammad and Sanaa, our entire family, a chance to live with dignity again, even in the face of hardship. We are mentally and physically exhausted; we cannot survive alone.
