8 months ago, me and my daughter walked away from a very unhealthy relationship. Finding the courage to leave was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make. Since then, false accusations and lies have affected my life in ways I never imagined, including making it difficult for me to find stable work because of what is now attached to my record.

No matter how heavy things have gotten, I refuse to give up. Every single day I wake up and keep fighting for a better life for my daughter, Serenity. She deserves safety, peace, stability, and a place we can finally call home.

We are starting this GoFundMe to help us raise money for housing, basic necessities, and to help us rebuild while I continue searching for work and trying to get back on my feet. This season has been painful, but I truly believe this is not the end of our story.
