My name is Stacey Maye, and we are homeless. I'm asking for help because although I refuse to give up, I realize I do need help restarting our life in Ohio. I left mine and my family's stable environment because my older children are here in Ohio, and I have waited many years to have and be able to hold my grandbabies and be the best nana I could be. I was made promises that were nothing more than lies. My oldest son took everything we own and told me to leave. We have nobody. My 12-year-old was born with a congenital heart disease and has now been diagnosed with congestive heart failure. I'm trying to get a car when taxes come in, but that can take a bit. But then I'm going back to work. I should get $3,000 back from taxes for that, and if God willing, the community will help me get a one or two-bedroom apartment. I will have the money for a car, and Superion has called with multiple opportunities for me. There is just no transportation. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
