Hello, my name is Rachelle.

I’ve never been the type of person to ask for help. I’ve always tried to give, to listen, and to be there for others who needed support. But right now, I’m in a place where I have to trust that kindness is still alive, and that asking for help is not weakness — it’s hope.

My small but strong family is homeless. We have been without stability for a long time, and I have never truly had a place to call home in my entire life. The beautiful little girl in my picture is my daughter. She just turned 10 months, and she will be one year old in January. She is my whole reason for fighting, and I refuse to give up on her.

Recently, I was diagnosed with gallstones, and the pain has been overwhelming. On top of that, my mom is battling pancreatic cancer. Life has been hitting all at once, and I’m trying to stay strong for my daughter, for myself, and for my family.

Money has never been the most important thing to me — if anything, I’ve always believed in giving and spreading kindness whenever I could. But right now, we need help. Anything you can give means more than I can put into words. I am deeply grateful for anyone who takes the time to read this, share this, or support us.
