My name is Sophia and recently my life changed in a matter of moments when a fire destroyed my home, only left with a structure. What was once a place of comfort, safety and peace is now gone.

God’s grace and mercy, I made it out safely and for that I am deeply thankful. The loss has been overwhelming emotionally and mentally. Losing a home is more than losing a building, it is losing memories, stability, personal belongings, and the sense of normalcy you once knew.

This season has tested me in ways I never imagined but I am holding on to faith through the Lord, God Almighty hope and the kindness of others. God is still faithful even in difficult moments and I am trusting Him for strength to rebuild my life step by step.
