Our baby sister, Riesen Kimmerly, was involved in a horrific car accident and is currently in critical condition at Strong Memorial Hospital. She and her boyfriend were rear-ended by a truck traveling at high speed, leaving them both with multiple broken bones and traumatic head injuries. Tragically, they also lost their three-month-old puppy, Monty, in the accident.

Riesen is sedated and on a ventilator as doctors treat a collapsed lung, brain bleed, arterial tears in her neck, and several serious fractures, including her hip, shoulder, and skull. She has already undergone surgery and continues to face ongoing testing and procedures as doctors monitor her condition and work toward stabilizing her.

Riesen has lost everything and has a long road to recovery ahead. She needs her community now more than ever, and any support, prayers, or kindness mean the world to our family. My baby sister needs us.
