This morning, our dear friend Lucy’s life changed forever when a devastating fire erupted in her home. Thankfully, she was rescued, but not before suffering catastrophic injuries.

Lucy is currently in the ICU fighting for her life. She has endured severe fourth-degree burns across much of her body and remains on a ventilator as doctors work tirelessly to save her. The road ahead will be unimaginably long and painful, filled with surgeries, intensive treatments, and rehabilitation.

Lucy is a caring, selfless person who has always given so much to those around her. She does so much for her community and is always willing to help others however she can. So many people know and love Lucy for her kindness, generosity, and big heart.

In addition to these heartbreaking injuries, Lucy lost everything in the fire — her home, belongings, and sense of security in an instant.

We are asking for prayers, support, and donations to help ease the overwhelming financial burden her family now faces. Funds will go toward medical expenses, recovery care, housing needs, and helping Lucy rebuild her life once she is strong enough.
