Description: Celeste Minnich is our sweet granddaughter, and she has always amazed us with her energy and joy. Celeste was born with a rare birth defect that prevented her right leg from getting the nutrition it needed to grow properly. Her femur has a 'Y' shape by her knee, and her lower leg bones and foot did not develop as they should. Despite these challenges, Celeste is a healthy, active 18-month-old who brings happiness to everyone around her.
On February 17, Celeste will undergo surgery to amputate her leg at the knee. This is a necessary step to prepare her for a prosthetic fitting, which will help her continue to live an active life. The journey ahead is filled with hope, but also with many expenses. Costs for time off work, food, and housing during her surgery and recovery are adding up quickly. While Shriners and our family are providing some support, it won't cover all the upcoming costs.
We are reaching out to our community for help. If you would like to support Celeste and her family during this challenging time, any amount would make a difference. Your generosity will help ease the financial burden and allow us to focus on her recovery and future. We also ask that you keep Celeste in your prayers as she faces this stressful time. Thank you for your kindness and support.
