Imagine landing in a new country with one suitcase, no home, no money, and no community.

For thousands of refugee families rebuilding their lives in Tennessee, this is the reality.

Many arrive in the United States after escaping war, violence, and persecution, only to face new challenges: finding housing, buying basic household items, and adjusting to a culture they don’t yet know.

The cost of simply “starting life” again, like pots, pans, hygiene products, towels, food, and cleaning supplies, can be overwhelming, especially when families are surviving on almost nothing.

That’s where our project comes in.

Founded by Menaal, Samisha, and Hansika, our initiative is using this money to create kits with often overlooked essential products to support these refugee families. We are aiming to make and distribute 300 to 500 kits in the next few weeks throughout the Nashville area, offering families the stability and care they deserve as they rebuild their lives.
