Milwaukee County has been hit hard by devastating floods — and some neighborhoods have lost everything. Entire families are facing the impossible task of starting over, and they need us now more than ever.
Our mission is simple yet urgent: Help 500 households in just 10 days — with a special focus on the 50 hardest-hit families in each of the 10 most rain-damaged areas.
The Plan
- Timeline: 10 days of action
- Impact Goal: 50 homes served every single day
- Workforce: 20 local youth (credible messengers) earning $100/day, giving them meaningful work and income before school starts
- Leadership: 5 dedicated supervisors
Our Goal: $30,000
Your donations will directly cover:
- Youth Wages: $20,000 — paying 20 young people for 10 days of community service
- Materials & Gas: $5,000 — supplies, tools, and fuel to reach families across the county
- Supervisor Costs: $5,000 — ensuring strong leadership and safety on every site
