Hi friends!

David and I have been pursuing foster care for some time now and have kept our journey fairly quiet, but now in light of COVID-19 and the need for social distancing, we're realizing it's time to share with you that our kiddo is coming...SOON!

In two weeks or less, we'll be opening our home to a kiddo ages 0-5 into our home. There is no real way to prepare physically for a foster child since we don't know the age, gender, or even general needs, so we haven't been able to purchase things in preparation (accept for a couple of children's books).

Our church was planning to throw us a foster shower, but now has had to cancel due to Portland's containment mandates. We have been encouraged to start a GoFundMe as a way of having a "virtual shower" that will help cover our needs for our kiddo in the coming weeks.

We are so thankful to have such a supportive group of family and friends who are excited for us as we become parents to a kiddo or two (we're open to accepting sibling groups) and we hope you will consider helping us raise funds for their physical needs in a time where we need community the most.
