It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Wendy Maureen Anderson on April 28th, 2025, at the age of 68. Wendy left this world surrounded by love, family, and sunshine in the comforting care of the Ruddy-Shenkman Hospice after a courageous battle with cancer.

To honour Wendy’s memory, and in gratitude for the care she received, our family is raising funds for Hospice Care Ottawa – Ruddy-Shenkman Hospice. In lieu of flowers, we invite friends, family, and all those touched by Wendy's life to consider making a donation. Your support will help ensure other families receive the same kindness and comfort we were so fortunate to experience.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, May 14th, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Barrhaven Royal Canadian Legion Branch 641, 3500 Fallowfield Rd., for anyone who wishes to pay their respects and honour Wendy’s memory.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for keeping Wendy’s legacy alive by supporting a cause that meant so much to her.
