Honouring Vladimir: a Memorial for a Beloved Brother
Donation protected
On May 7th, we faced the heartbreaking and sudden loss of my dear brother Vladimir, who took his own life at the tender age of 17. This tragedy struck us during a challenging time in his life, as he was battling Functional Neurological Disorder and preparing for his GCSEs.
Vladimir's funeral has passed, but his grave remains without a monument. To honour his memory and essence, we aim to raise funds for a proper monument. Our goal is to create a beautiful depiction of Vladimir as an angel, holding a planter with two cats at his feet. These cats were his cherished companions, and it's essential for us to include them at his final resting place.
We have yet to receive quotes from the stone masons we've contacted, so our target may change. However, we hope that £10,000 will cover most of the costs. Your support will help us create a lasting tribute that truly reflects Vladimir's spirit.
Thank you for your generosity and kindness during this difficult time.
