Honouring My Best Friend – Skydiving for Pilgrims Hospice

On August 17th, I’ll be doing a skydive in memory of my Nan — my best friend — to raise money for Pilgrims Hospice, who cared for her with such love and compassion during the last week of her life in November 2023. Losing her was the hardest thing I’ve ever faced, but knowing she was in such safe, gentle hands made it a little easier to process. The staff at Pilgrims gave her dignity, comfort, and peace in her final days, and supported us as a family through an incredibly painful time. I’m taking on this challenge to give something back and to help more families receive the same incredible care. Any donation, big or small, means so much — thank you.
