Honoring Wojtek: Support His Family's Future

Hello Everyone,

Victoria and Marcin writing to you, trying to help Stephanie (our sister-in-law), Jakub and Liam (our nephews), and Kaya (our niece). On February 6th of this year, Marcin's brother Wojtek, 44, died tragically in an accident that changed the lives of Stephanie and the kids forever.

Wojtek’s presence brought warmth and strength to those who knew him. He was a fun-loving guy who enjoyed the outdoors and never took himself too seriously. He felt strongly about his beliefs and made sure that people knew what he stood for. Wojtek was a very hard worker. He had his own trucking business and spent many hours, not only on the road driving his truck, but also at home setting up loads for his truck and doing all of the paperwork needed to run a business. He loved the outdoors and camping and spent time with his friends enjoying those past times. Wojtek was a great father and husband who spent his off time with his wife and kids, laughing and being silly.

In August of 2023, Wojtek, Stephanie, Jakub, Liam, and Kaya moved to Bowling Green, KY from California to enjoy a more calm and simple way of life. He was very happy there and had many plans for the future, particularly remodeling their house. With his sudden passing Stephanie has been left with the responsibility of these remodeling plans. Not only does Stephanie care for her three children, but she also cares for her ailing mother. Stephanie's long-term plans are to go to school to finish her nursing degree and get a job. This will take some time because the grief right now is so deep.

We are setting up this page, because Wojtek was the sole income for the home. With him no longer here, Stephanie has a lot of healing to do, and not having to worry about her house, will make the grieving process a little more bearable. Stephanie also has no family in Kentucky to help. Any little bit that you can provide Stephanie and the kids, would be greatly appreciated to help them get through this traumatic time. Your monetary help will be used to complete home projects, including completing an extra room in the house, since Stephanie will have to move her mom into the house to help take care of her.
