I’m raising funds for my Eagle Scout project at Murray-Hodge Post 453 in Rutherford, NJ, where I’ll be installing a new flagpole and a memorial plaque to honor the history and legacy of the post and all who served. This project is especially meaningful to me because my dad, grandfather, godfather and aunt all served in the military, and I hope to serve myself after graduating college. By creating this memorial, I want to recognize the sacrifices of veterans, including WWII heroes and the Tuskegee Airmen, and ensure their stories are remembered for generations to come.

The funds raised will go directly toward purchasing a new flagpole, memorial plaque, landscaping, and food for volunteers who help with the installation. Any funds left over will be donated to Murray-Hodge Post 453 to support their ongoing work in the community. I’m working to complete the project within the next 30 days, so your support will make a real difference in helping us honor these veterans as soon as possible.
