Honoring Torrey: Support for Her Loved Ones
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Family,
It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Torrey Berkheimer-Encarnacion. On June 26, 2024, Torrey left us unexpectedly and too soon, leaving a void in our hearts that will never be filled.
Those who knew Torrey would best describe her as “loyal,” “kind,” “generous,” and “loving.” She fought for and protected those she loved. She was full of love and never missed a moment to show it. Her conversations and interactions were all about telling people how much she valued and cared for them. And if it wasn’t through her words, she displayed her love through her generosity and thoughtfulness. If she knew your favorite food or flower, Torrey would make sure you had it. If she had $1 in her pocket, she would offer you $2. She did not miss birthdays or opportunities to make people feel special. She had an abundance of love that she enjoyed sharing with this world.
Of all the descriptors of Torrey, the one she wore the proudest was that of Mother. She was a devoted mother who always put her son, Cameron, first. She was happiest when she was with Cameron and she lit up when she spoke of him. When she was in his presence she exuded the purest form of love. She would often refer to him as her blessing, acknowledging how lucky she was to be his mother.
Torrey’s sudden departure has left us heartbroken and has left the family facing unforeseen expenses. We have set up this GoFundMe campaign to help support the family, specifically Cameron, during this difficult time. Any support you can provide, whether it's a donation or sharing this campaign with others, would mean the world as the family navigates this challenging time.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and compassion.
