For the past ten years, my father, Quincy Kirkland, endured dialysis with courage, faith, and resilience. What made that possible—day after day, year after year—was the unwavering care of his full-time caregiver and daughter, Quintina “Nurse Quinn” Kirkland. She gave her time, her strength, her patience, and her heart. She coordinated treatments, managed medications, attended appointments, and stood beside our father through the physical and emotional toll that long-term dialysis demands. She became his advocate, his comfort, and his constant—often putting her own needs aside so that he could live with dignity and far longer than many thought possible. Her care was an act of love in its purest form.

We are asking friends, family, and community members who knew and loved Quincy—or who simply believe in honoring selfless care—to support Tina.
