This past week our mom passed away after a long battle with dementia. Throughout this challenging time, our sister Laurie Hummel and her husband, Mike, selflessly cared for Mom and Dad.

In early 2025, when Mom's health declined, Laurie and Mike brought she and dad into their home. They quickly hired a contractor to renovate their master bathroom to be handicap accessible for Mom. Unfortunately, the work was a disaster, leaving their bathroom ruined.

Laurie and Mike are incredibly generous people who made immense sacrifices. Now that they're moving back into their master bedroom, we want to give back to them.
