Honoring the Ultimate Girl Dad: Supporting the Morrison Girls

It’s hard to believe that just four months ago, the world lost the Ultimate Girl Dad. Jim Morrison — or “Morrison,” as many lovingly knew him — was the best father, friend, and neighbor anyone could ever ask for. His passing was incredibly sudden and deeply jarring for his family and for everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

The Morrison girls have been navigating this heartbreaking loss as best as they can, taking things day by day and supporting each other through every step. Because there was no funeral (though a possibility of a celebration of life in the future), many of us have been searching for a meaningful way to show our love and support.

Jessie shared that she plans to give her sister Maria and their mother Janice matching lockets — a way to keep a small piece of Jim close to their hearts. She’s found the perfect ones and plans to gift them at Christmas. We would love to come together to help ease the financial burden of this gift and show the Morrison girls the same generosity and care they always show others.

Jessie, Maria, and Janice give so much of themselves to their family, friends, and community. This is a chance for us to return the favor and surround them with love during an incredibly difficult time.
