Honoring the memory of Rabbi Micah Ellenson

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Rabbi Micah Ellenson, a beloved husband, father, and friend. Micah’s larger-than-life personality, his infectious laughter, and his warm heart touched those he met. He was a beacon of light, offering guidance, knowledge, wisdom, and love, especially within congregations and the Jewish communities he served. As a devoted husband to his wife, Sara, and a proud father to his daughters, Lily and Rose, Micah’s love for his family was unmatched. His girls were his pride, and he often spoke about them with an emotional glow in his eyes. He was always present, whether guiding them through their studies or teaching them the importance of compassion, generosity, and faith.

Micah’s passing leaves a profound void in all of our hearts. His loss is felt most deeply by Sara, Lily, and Rose, who are now navigating life without him. The road ahead will be difficult, but one thing is certain: the love Micah gave them will never fade. In the wake of this tremendous loss and in honor of Micah’s memory, we are starting this GoFundMe campaign to support Sara, Lily & Rose during this incredibly challenging time. The funds will help cover everyday expenses and assist with the costs associated with their loss. While no amount of money can replace the many gifts Micah brought into our lives, this fundraiser is a way for us to show our gratitude for all the love and wisdom he shared with us.
