Honoring the Life of Vernon Barker

Right before Pastor Vernon’s 50th birthday, the Lord decided it was time for him to receive his eternal reward.

My name is Dan Nalley. I am from Sacramento, CA and Vernon Barker was my best friend. I've created this fundraiser for Vernon's wife, Tina Barker, to help relieve expenses from his passing and bless her with something to continue building his legacy. 

For all of us who Know & Love him, it is a Devastating Loss. He is one of the most anointed & gifted ministers we have ever encountered. His ability to preach Gods word & be used by the Holy Spirit has made such a huge impact on so many of our lives.

 

YOU KNEW Anytime pastor Vernon was coming to speak at your Church, revival was

Going break out! He just had that intangible ability from the stage, at the altar or after church in the parking lot. To speak Gods word directly into your life.

 

Since his passing, I’ve been flooded with messages & conversations of ministry moments with pastor Vernon that were life changing.

 

Not only has he faithfully pastored His own church. But has spent his life pouring into other pastors, leaders & churches.

 

Pastor Vernon & His church are SO GENEROUS. They excel in the gift of Giving. From world missions to starting churches, from blessing pastors to buying equipment for a church in need. They were always Giving.

 

Most likely everyone that knows him has either received a financial gift from him or heard about one he gave. That’s just who he was.

 

THE BEST WAY TO HONOR HIS LIFE is to

Bless the Love of His Life.

 

Outside of God, there was nothing In the world he loved & adored more than “his girl” Tina. He loved taking care of her, taking her on trips, being pastors, parents & grand parents together.

 

Now that he’s gone. I know nothing would mean more to him than to make sure his wife can continue to be the same minister, mother & grandmother for years to come.

 

Your gift along with the amazing support of her church family, will allow Tina to move into the future continuing the legacy Her & Vernon have started so many years ago.

I’m already imagining when we get to heaven seeing Vernon & him saying to us, “thanks for taking care of my girl”.
