Honoring the Life and Legacy of Christopher Ochieng Joseph Ojuro
With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved Christopher Ochieng Joseph Ojuro, eldest son to Dr. Peter Ojuro and Mrs. Jackie Ojuro, and cherished brother to Wiljar, Christian, and Nia. Our family is devastated by this sudden loss, but we take comfort in the incredible life he lived and the profound impact he had on everyone who knew him.
Christopher was 25 years old, and established himself well into his work as an Executive Accountant at Times Shamrock, a Media Production Company located in Scranton, PA. Christopher, well respected, a beacon of love, confidence, and unwavering loyalty, the kind of person whose presence could light up any room. Whether through his infectious laughter, boundless energy, or steadfast support, he had a way of making people feel seen, valued, and deeply cared for. He was brilliantly intelligent, endlessly compassionate, and wholeheartedly dedicated to helping others in any way he could.
He was the life of the party, a source of strength, and a confidant to many, but above all, he was an amazing son, an incredible brother, and the kind of friend most people only dream of having. His generosity knew no bounds, and his love was fierce, genuine, and unconditional.
While we mourn his passing, we find comfort knowing he is now at peace, resting in heaven. To honor his memory, we are working to bring him home to Kenya, where he will be laid to rest with the love and honor he so greatly deserves. Additionally, we will hold a memorial service in his hometown of New Hartford, NY, where he graduated from New Hartford High School, to celebrate his life.
We humbly ask for your support in making this possible. Any contribution, no matter the size, will go toward transporting him home, arranging his memorial, and ensuring that we can give Christopher the beautiful farewell he deserves. Your kindness, prayers, and generosity mean the world to us during this heartbreaking time.
Christopher gave so much of himself to others; now, we come together to give back in his honor. Thank you for helping us celebrate his life, honor his memory, and bring him home.
With love and gratitude,
The Ojuro Family
