Hello everybody, this is a fundraiser on behalf of the Nemo family to assist with funeral expenses and provide support for his deeply loved wife, Michelle Nemecek, after the loss of her beloved husband, Christopher Nemecek Sr.

Chris Nemecek passed away on October 31, 2025, surrounded by his children and wife. He was more than a husband, father, and friend — he was a man whose kindness, laughter, and faith touched everyone he met.

He was born June 17, 1955, and served in the U.S. Army, carrying that strength and devotion into every part of his life.

From managing at Toledo Florist Exchange to being an engineer on the train, Chris made sure to leave an impact of well-told stories, true belly laughter, and an overwhelming sense of warmth that can only come from a heart of gold.

God was sure to make just one soul for a heart as special as Chris’s, his Michelle. And he wouldn’t miss a chance to tell it to anyone who would listen, of his radical love for her. He told their story every chance he got, because he knew it was most important to remind others what real love looks and sounds like.

His famous meals, watching sports with his family, playing golf, singing songs — being his own or a radio request — were just some of the magnificent ways we have all been blessed to remember Chris Nemecek.

He lived a full life of love, laughter, faith, and service — always putting others before himself. However you’re able to help will ease the financial burden on his family and Michelle, as they make the arrangements to celebrate his life and honor his memory.
