No words can truly describe the sudden loss of Heather Polk, who was taken much too soon from her family at the age of 44.

Heather never met a stranger. Her positive, talkative and inviting personality made her family, church family, friends, coworkers and patients feel overwhelmingly cared for and loved. She was a bright light for anyone who met her. The world has been robbed of more time with her and the many gifts she shared with everyone she encountered.

To honor Heather, let's extend that same compassion and comfort to those she loved most... Her husband, Jeff, and her children, Taylor, Hunter, Riley and Trustin.

The Polk family is known for their commitment to faith, family, community and kindness. They are a powerful example of how to love and support one another through incredible adversity. The Polks have endured more than many families will ever know in their lifetime. The loss of Heather is another cross they now bear.
