Sonia Isaacoff was a bright light in our community—fierce, funny, and always dependable. Her laughter was like a warm hug, and her goofiness brought smiles to everyone around her. Whether she was organizing the staff suite at MAGFest with her signature painter’s tape queues or encouraging us to see the good in others, Sonia’s presence made every day better. She had a way of bringing people together, reminding us to look beyond first impressions and to treat everyone with kindness and understanding.

Some of the MAGFest communities favorite memories with Sonia are spontaneous drives, just cruising through the hills with no destination in mind, or the way she’d dominate us all at beerio-kart—despite insisting she wasn’t a gamer. Sonia’s joy for life was infectious, and her ability to make even the simplest moments special is something we’ll always cherish. Her laughter, her perspective, and her unwavering support for her friends and colleagues will be deeply missed.

We’re raising funds to support Sonia’s mom and dad as they navigate this difficult time.
