Honoring Ryan’s life and legacy: a college fund for his sons
Donation protected
On May 6, 2024, our dear friend Ryan Tompkins passed away due to complications from esophageal cancer. He was 49. Ryan leaves behind his wife, Michelle, of 18 years and their sons, Emmett (15) and Sterling (11). This is a sudden and tragic shock as Ryan was diagnosed with cancer just a couple of months ago.
The loss of such a loving, caring, genuine human being is devastating, and we are all still trying to process this immense loss to his family, community, and all of the many people he touched. Ryan’s sweet, kind outlook on life, along with his sharp wit, intelligence and strong work ethic live on in his amazing children, Emmett and Sterling. Ryan loved his sons more than anything, so to honor his life and legacy, we have created this gofundme to continue to support these two young minds through a college fund. There has already been an outpouring of love and support, both emotionally and financially, so please don’t in any way feel obligated to contribute to this fund. But if you feel moved to help in this way, thank you.
