The world lost a beautiful, genuine soul in Patrick Barefoot. He was a loving husband and partner to Ashley, a dedicated father to Addy and Jack, and a loyal friend to us all. In times like this, we often don't know which way to turn or what words to say. Shocked doesn't even begin to cover it.

If you knew Pat, you knew a friend. He had the uncanny ability to light up a room with his goofy smile and his great storytelling. He showed up for everyone, anytime we needed it. We will all have a huge hole in our lives with this loss.

To honor Patrick’s memory, a service will be held at White Plains United Methodist Church, Cary, on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Jack and Addison's college funds in his memory.
