On May 2, 2024, our junior high band director, Liz Porter, lost her son Owen after complications from open heart surgery. At just 15 months old Owen brought endless joy and laughter to everyone he knew. This loss has left the family not only grieving but also facing the stressful burden of medical bills during this already incredibly difficult time.

As friends and members of the Reynoldsburg community, we want to rally around Liz and her family to provide them with the support they need to navigate through this unimaginable loss.

All donations will go directly to the Porter family for necessities and medical bills accrued from having Owen in the hospital since January. We hope to allow Liz and her family to focus on healing and honoring Owen’s memory.
