Today, our school community experienced a moment that no parent, student, or educator ever wants to face. A threatening call was made, putting the safety of our children and staff into question.

In the midst of uncertainty and fear, our School Resource Officer stepped up with unwavering strength, courage, and calm. She reassured staff and parents, took control of the situation, and most importantly—kept our children safe. Her presence alone brought a sense of peace during a time that could have easily turned chaotic.

While we hope never to face situations like this, today reminded us just how vital she is to our school and our community. She didn’t just do her job—she went above and beyond, standing as a protector, a leader, and a source of comfort for so many families.
