Our father was the most selfless man there was. He was an amazing father, coach, son & role model to many. He laid down his life without thinking twice in order to save two complete strangers from drowning in a riptide, one of which was a 10-year old little girl.

The fundraiser was created by Justin Moore and DJ Moore following the heartbreaking loss of our father, Derrick Moore.

This GofundMe was created to support his children (DJ, Justin, Joshua & Lael) during this difficult time. The donations will help provide for their ongoing necessities; housing, bills, food, education, living expenses, and therapy to name a few. It will be allocated evenly among them, alongside a portion of the proceeds being entitled to charity, non-profit organizations & memorabilia.
