Our mother, granny, sister, aunt, and friend Nora Stevenson, passed away peacefully on 10/6/26 after a long battle with end stage renal disease. We are raising funds to help cover her funeral costs and burial expenses as our family works to honor the time we had with her and lay her to rest with dignity.

She was a wonderful person to everyone she came into contact with.

The loves of her life were God, education, her family, and people in general. She showed this love in everything that she did, from planning programs for the youth at church to sitting with friends and family in their times of need to sharing a word, letter, or LONG text message to encourage you on your way. We will never be able to duplicate the person she was on this earth, but we are so grateful for the light she shined on us while she was here.

For the past year of her life, our family served as her primary caregiver. We were responsible for all aspects of her daily living and all of her medical needs, and it has been physically and emotionally taxing to watch her decline. Losing her while carrying the weight of caregiving has been incredibly hard on all of us but also an tangible way for us to show our love.

This fundraiser will go directly toward her funeral arrangements and burial expenses. For anyone who would like to contribute, your support would be appreciated as we remember and honor her.
