I Lost My Parents in the Texas Flood. I’m Asking for Help to Bury Them

I don’t know how to even begin writing this, but here I am..,my name is Jermaine

My parents were taken from me in the recent Texas floods. It all happened so fast. One minute I was texting them, and the next... the water came, and they were gone. No goodbye. No warning. Just gone

They didn’t deserve to go like that. They deserved peace. They deserved safety. And right now, all I want is to give them a proper burial to honor them, to lay them to rest the right way. But I’m struggling. Everything about this is overwhelming the grief, the costs, the silence they left behind

I’m not the type to ask for help, but I truly need it now. I’m trying to raise enough to

1. Cover burial and funeral costs for both of them

2. Handle basic arrangements and transportation

3. And lastly give them a resting place where I can visit and remember
