Honoring the Founders of Youth Black Achievers
This Black History Month, alumni and community supporters of the former YMCA Youth Black Achievers program are coming together to honor its founders, Mr. Steve Harley and Ms. Regina Sapp, for their lasting impact on generations of youth.
Founded in 1998, the program empowered Black students at Eustis Heights Elementary through leadership, education, and community engagement. Though the program concluded in 2014, the legacy Mr. Harley and Ms. Sapp built continues to shape lives today.
Funds raised will support commemorative honors awards and monetary appreciation gifts presented on behalf of alumni and supporters. This is a community-led appreciation initiative, and all contributions will be used solely for this purpose.
To preserve the surprise, please keep this effort discreet. Contributions of any amount are deeply appreciated. Thank you for helping us honor two pillars of our community.
