On July 21, 2025, our family lost Monica McBride in a heartbreaking accident. Monica drowned while saving her beloved nephew, showing the same courage and selflessness that defined her life. Even in her final moments, Monica’s giving spirit shone through—she is donating her organs to help others in need, a final act of generosity that reflects the way she lived every day.
Monica was loving, caring, honest, and always brought laughter to those around her. She was devoted to her children, Mallison (10) and Sasuke (6), and cherished her family deeply. Monica’s straightforward nature and her ability to make everyone feel special made her a pillar of strength for those who knew her. She loved her nephew as if he were her own child, and her actions have left a lasting impact on all of us.
We are raising funds to cover Monica’s funeral expenses and to support Mallison and Sasuke as they face life without their mother.
