Honoring Marie P. St Fleur: Funeral Fund

My name is Roudy Movez St Fleur, the son of the recently transitioned Marie P. St Fleur.

The loss of a professor, a sister, a mother, and grandmother of fourteen nieces and nephews has come too soon.

During these challenging times, I do ask to help support the GoFundMe goal towards funeral expenses.

Marie was a very loving person and would offer her soul if she had to in order for someone else to live. She was a beacon of energy with an unmistakable presence. She was authentic, compassionate, and real towards others. My mother was a person who truly cared about her grandkids and dedicated herself to supporting other family members as much as she could. Everyone who visited our family from out of town had to come see her.

Prior to her physical disabilities, Marie would love to dress and dance at family functions. Marie would light up the room with her smile and laughter, enjoying family. Marie has inspired and empowered many in our family to dedicate themselves to fulfilling their potential through the power of loving and caring for others.

My mother was truly a beacon of light. I could never replace her. She will always be one-of-a-kind; therefore, I made a pledge to continue her legacy and provide the care that my family and community need.
